Forgive my use of the word art to describe a romantic comedy, but that's what I'm blogging about tonight: Going the Distance, starring Justin Long and Drew Barrymore.Synopsis (with me & Tina in parentheses):
- They meet and grow fond of each other in NYC (LA)
- She moves to San Francisco (DC)
- They make long distance work, despite seeing each other every three months (about every month, more or less)
- She keeps trying to find work in NYC (LA) per their original plan
- Since the economy doesn't seem to let her move back to NYC (LA), she ends up taking a job in SF (DC)
- They break up (got engaged)
- He changes jobs to be in California (she might be arranging to live in LA soon)
- Happy ending! (Happy continuing!)

I'd relate you more with Adam Sandler's character in one of 40 movies with him and Drew Barrymore. He is more funny. Maybe "the wedding singer." Although the story doesn't match up as romantically. Happy Gilmore was a great movie. As was Billy Madison. TORRENTs here I come.
While we're at it, I'd rather be a Humphrey Bogart. Yeah.
