The title is in reference to the recent post about buying four shirt/tie combos on the cheap. Since then I've worn the two least ugly looking (arguably) shirts/ties to work, but I'm already extending my crazy spending spree. This time I took a $200 gift card to Men's Wearhouse that was gathering dust and turned it into two sport coats and two blazers. It took some finagling, but ultimately I'm getting a buy-one, get-one free deal (x2) online, but using the gift card in-store (it can only be used in-store). I called the manager of the Men's Wearhouse closest to me and I'll have the merch delivered to the store, pick it up, return it there, then re-purchase it for the same total using the gift card.
Speaking of that total, I'm pretty proud of the deal I got, gift card or not. All four coats were on clearance, with an un-clearanced total of $719.96, but applying the clearances and buy-one, get-one free brings it down to $198.98. Not content to pay for sales tax after applying the gift card, I did a quick search for coupon codes and came out with 10% off. Perfect! The grand total with (free) shipping and tax is $197.52. Eff yeah. We'll see how horribly these coats clash with everything I wear them with. Time will tell whether or not I care.

By the way, the difference between a sport coat and a blazer is that a blazer is a solid color, hereas a sport coat has some kind of pattern, stripes, or otherwise non-homogeneous fabric. You know, because I just looked that up and thought I'd share.
