
Two of my
pathetic plants recently completed their lifecycles and turned into dried, stalky, seed delivery mechanisms. It's kind of cool to watch parsley and oregano go through that metamorphosis if you're into that sort of thing. Believe it or not, that tall skinny plant from bottom to top in the picture at left is one of the
parsley plants that did so well for so long. I took the seeds from this strong plant and scattered them into an available planter, and in a few days I got little seedlings!

Hmm... I can taste the parsley soup now... which reminds me, I should brush my teeth more.

The oregano did a partial metamorphosis; it still looks like leafy oregano, and still smells (and tastes) good. Do you see the oregano on the right? It has some twiggy stalks coming out of it; those seeds went into another available planter.
What's the point of planting these seeds in late Fall? Will they grow?
